I was very excited by the prospect of moving to a new house but was very quickly overwhelmed by the many choices that had to be made and the reality that if I made a wrong decision I would have to live with it ( or in it) for a long time. Without a doubt, the best decision I made was to secure the services of Gwen. She listened to what I liked, provided me with great ideas, gave me sound advice and ensured I stayed within budget. Gwen’s flair for colour and style inspired great confidence in her designs. Gwen’s ability to see the potential in a space, to pick the right colours, to source the right piece of furniture created a home for me which was beyond my expectations.

She listens and carefully takes in the personalities of our family and our lifestyle. This is the main reason why we enjoyed working with Gwen on reshaping our house. Quietly, nudging us to choose colour palettes and signature features that stretched our default go-to style. We did a very large house renovation over a 6 month period during 2013/2014. Gwen was involved from the planning stages, advising on kitchen/bathroom layouts etc. right through to completion. The renovation was quite stressful however Gwen helped to alleviate much of the stress and even made the re-decorating very enjoyable.

Gwen accompanied us on a number of visits to the kitchen designer and spent many afternoons with us in tile, carpet and fabric shops, furniture stores etc. helping us to make the right choice and colour for our ‘new look’ home. Gwen always focused on our needs and likes while ‘gently encouraging’ us to move out of our comfort zone when necessary.

We are delighted with the outcome of our renovation project but I can definitely say it would not have been possible without Gwen’s input and advice. I would highly recommend Gwen for any interior design project – she has a lovely easy going manner while at all times being very efficient and professional.

It has been a pleasure to have Gwen work with me over the past 14 years making our house a home. She has a forensic eye for detail when it comes to imagination and colours . She has transformed a tired house into a vibrant living area. Her knowledge and understanding of what we imagined and more, has made our whole living space more than what we ever could have imagined. Gwen recently did an amazing makeover with our home. We gave most of the house a face lift. Gwen has a wonderful eye for colour and detail and a fabulous sense of style. We didn’t have to worry about looking for painters or tilers, Gwen was able to sort everything. She is extremely organised and was a complete pleasure to work with.
